Teaching Resiliency to Teachers
One of my lifelong passions has been empowering children and teens. It started in high school when I took on a babysitting job which pretty much took up the majority of my summer. This extended into college through various internships, side jobs eventually landing me into a position as a school psychologist. When you read Choosing Love, you will gain a broader perspective of why this passion runs so deep, my journey as a fearful child and how I learned to love myself and others fully again.
Today, I am pleased to say I have returned to my roots as a Mindset Training educator. I am part of team of professionals who go into schools educating educators on new ways to approach sticky situations, fearful thinking and challenging behaviors. Some of my thoughts on building resiliency in teachers have been quoted in this article just released by The National Educators Association (Sept 2015).
Feel free to forward it to a teacher in your life.
In love and service,
