Wish You Could Quit Your Job but Can't? Here Are 3 Things to Consider

We have all been there at some point, dragging our feet to a job we didn’t even like. If you have had it up to your ear lobes, tired of doing what you do, wish you could find something more in line with what you love, then this blog post is for you.

While you may be thinking, there is no way you can quit your job, how will you pay the bills? Or perhaps you are worrying about your boss how pissed he or she is gonna be and whether it is even worth making the move. Now before you get yourself in a pickle, there are a few things to keep in mind. When it comes to the Emotional Detox mindset, my motto is: Never make big, life changing decisions before you C.L.E.A.N.S.E. Here is why, this my friend, could all be a reaction from an emotion you have buried. While I am certainly not advising you to stay in a job you hate, what I am saying is by leaving this emotion left unprocessed this situation may repeat itself.

With that said, once you C.L.E.A.N.S.E, here are three things to consider:

  1. There Will ALWAYS Be Opportunities. While you might think right now, this is all you got, you are not giving yourself enough credit. If you are staying in a job you hate because you believe your have no choice in the matter than I am here to tell you that is FALSE! You just might need a little support. The first place to start is let people know you are open to opportunity! Yes, get off that fanny of yours and speak up.

  2. It Is Okay to Disappoint People. If you are staying in a situation because you believe people would be upset if you leave you are seeing them as incapable. People don’t need your pity. They will figure it out, you are not in charge of their emotions.

  3. Stop Worrying! Once you move through the C.L.E.A.N.S.E Method ® make a commitment to yourself to start focusing on faith and trust. Listen I know, the universe, your creator has your back, however, you have to remember, you are ALWAYS being supported and guided on this journey.
