Feeling Uncertain May be Exactly What You Need....
April 2020. Right now you may not be sure what is going to happen. Perhaps your wondering how quickly things will go back to "normal"and the way your life (and others) will be impacted. While you may be eager to get rid of these uncomfortable, at times difficult feelings, I say, slow down, because they might actually be what you need.
You see what I have learned is emotions such as uncertainty can actually increase your sense of security, safety and reassurance when they are allowed to be fully processed. Left unprocessed, they sit inside your body, unmoved, leaving traces of fear, insecurity and doubt behind.
So rather than try to figure out how to make these feelings go away through fixing or problem solving consider taking some time to pause and truly process what is showing up in you and so many others to be healed. You see, what I see on my end, as an Emotional Detox Coach,® is we are in somewhat of a collective CLEANSE. This means quite a bit of toxicity, old belief systems, thought patterns and ways of living our lives are coming up to be released, healed and renewed.
While that may not mean much to you right now as you sit in the throes of uncertainty, know processing your emotions can be a resource for cultivating calm and clarity. As this occurs, you will begin to see how what is happening may actually support your overall growth and development.
One of the best ways to process your emotions is to kick off your shoes, go outside in your bare feet, smell the air and tune into your breathing. This will allow you to ground your energy into mother earth, so you can sense her unconditional love and support.
Yes, uncertainty can be uncomfortable, however on all the other side of that discomfort is great ease. Today, take time to process, connect and honor what you feel.
